I hope that everyone enjoyed their Easter as we now look forward to Memorial Day!  As we all know, this time of the year, we’re likely to hear a number of weather alerts, so we do hope that everyone has an emergency plan prepared.  We definitely would not want to see or hear of any of our readers being hurt. 

Emergency preparedness is always at the top of my list – no matter what it is in regards to, including my personal choices should anything happen to me.  My friends all know who to call should something happen.  Have you prepared for that? 

One of the things that has been in the news a lot lately is “ICE”ing your cellular phones.  This simply means that there is a phone number stored in your cell phone with the name ICE (in case of emergency) so that police or citizens will know who to call should you need help.  And from there, the person on the other end of the phone should also know what to do for you – what you would want them to do in any situation!

Make sure that you’re prepared.  Not only for the curses of Mother Nature, but for any situation which may occur and cause damage to you, your property or a loved one.
